Iridology (this is pronounced eye-ri-dology, not 'ear-ri-dology') is the process of assessing the iris in terms of colour, markings, structure, etc. to examine areas of the body that may need extra support. Iridology can tell a lot about many characteristics of health that one person is experiencing or particular health traits they may have inherited.
Iridology can also tell us a lot about your health from what is known as a 'constitutional' point of view.
It is a non-invasive procedure. A small light is shone into each eye for about 20-30 seconds, often under magnification of a hand-held iris torch / magnifying glass.
Iridology is usually practiced at your initial consult or first follow-up appointment.
